Climate-positive construction
We measure climate-positive impact in tonnes of permanently sequestered CO². With our sustainable construction method, and taking into account the energy consumption and eventual outgassing of the wood, we use a conservative calculation: 1 cubic meter of installed timber = 1 tonne of CO².
Our structures are more than just containers—they are ecosystems that store carbon. While the timber actively sequesters CO², our engineering also prioritizes a "circular" lifecycle. Our timber logs are strictly marked according to the European standard DIN 14081-1, ensuring they meet the same safety regulations as permanent timber-frame houses. Thanks to this precision engineering, the building is fully reconstructible. If you wish to move, you can dismantle your structure and take it with you, avoiding demolition waste and truly protecting our planet.

Not all wood is created equal
Impossible Space relies on the best eco-friendly materials – starting with our most important building material: wood.
We exclusively use Structural Solid Timber (KVH) from sustainable forestry in Germany (e.g., the Black Forest).
- Wood moisture content controlled to 15% ± 3% tolerance
- Dimensional stability of the cross-section: no twisting or longitudinal warping.
Maximum deviation of 1.5 mm over a length of 30 cm - Surface finish: planed and chamfered
- High material strength (Strength Class C24)

Our parent company, JWS GmbH, has been active in trade fair construction for generations. We know how to erect comfortable and secure structures in the shortest possible time – and how to dismantle them without leaving a trace. At Impossible Space, we have channeled this experience into a climate-positive, circular solution.

Don't worry – if you can do that, you can also build a complete temporary space solution yourself with our kit.
Every component is clearly numbered.
Using a simple blueprint, every element finds its perfect place.
All accessories, such as spring-loaded screws and insulation material, are included.
Building assembly with prefabricated wall segments
Prefabricated wall segments are lifted into position using a crane...
...and then fine-tuned into their exact position.
The walls are rigidly connected using an X-Fix connector.
Finished Log Container
We are also happy to manufacture fully assembled timber containers for you directly at our factory and subsequently deliver them to your location.
There, the units are professionally installed, reducing on-site effort to an absolute minimum. For a container measuring 6 × 2.5 meters, the actual setup and installation time is reduced to only about one hour.
This provides you with our fastest and most convenient option for your temporary space solution.
